Thomas Wegerich (*1964) studied law in Münster. He went for professional training to Frankfurt, Speyer, Birmingham and San Francisco. After starting his career at Neuen Juristischen Wochenschrift (Verlag C.H. Beck), he was among others Managing Director and Editor-in-chief at the publishing house Recht and Wirtschaft and publishing house manager at the publishing group Deutscher Fachverlag. Since July 2009 Thomas Wegerich has been a member of the Board and program manager at the publishing house Richard Boorberg, one of the leading publishers in the field of legal publications in Germany. He is also a member and Managing Director of German Law Publishers (www.germanlawpublishers.com), a publishing house established by him.
Since 2004, Thomas Wegerich has been a honorary professor of national and international commercial law at the Brandenburg Technical University (BTU, www.tu-cottbus.de). Since 2007 he has been a lecturer at the European Business School (EBS, www.ebs.edu) and since 1994 a press fellow at Wolfson College (University Cambridge, www.wolfson.cam.ac.uk). Thomas Wegerich is the publisher and author of several handbooks, and he is also the founder and publisher of the on line magazines "Deutscher AnwaltSpiegel" and "PUBLICUS - Der Online-Spiegel für das Öffentliche Recht" [The on-line mirror for public law].
