Karl Radnóczy (*1954) studied law in Munich. Between 1985 and 1989 he worked in the United States at the German-American Chamber of Commerce in Los Angeles, as representative of Kitec Corporation and partner of Dr. Lindner and Radnóczy Venture Capital.

In 1990 he went to Nörr, Stiefenhofer & Lutz in Munich (today „noerr“ LLP), where he worked as a member until 2009 and for which he established and managed the Central and Eastern European offices, in particular the Budapest, Bucharest and Warsaw offices as a member of the Board.

While working with „noerr“, Mr. Radnóczy was also Board member of HypoVereinsbank Hungária Rt., member of the Supervisory Board of Hypo-Leasing Hungária Kft. and Board member of Hypo-Securities Hungária Rt. between 1993 and 2000. Mr. Radnóczy has been an active Board member of the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DUIHK) since May 2005.

In 2009 he founded the law offices Radnóczy & Partners Budapest and CEE-Lawyers LLP. In July 2011 he joined Graf Kanitz, Schüppen & Partner as Of Counsel and established together with Graf Kanitz, Schüppen & Partner the CEE-Lawyers EWIV, an association of independent law offices from Central and Eastern Europe.

Prof. Dr.iur, Ph.D. Radnóczy has an attorney-at-law licence both for Germany and Hungary.

Main areas of consulting:

Corporate law, corporate acquisitions and participation in Central and Eastern European companies, real estate and bank law. Mr. Radnóczy also often works as a presenter in professional seminars about Central Europe and teaches law at the state-owned University Polytechnika in Bucharest as part of the EU’s Bologna program. Among others, he is also author of the university handbook on EU-Subsidy Law: „Támogatások az Európai Unióban“ (Subsidies in the European Union) (ISBN 9630581329).
