Boris Trautmann (*1967) studied law in Marburg and Paris and obtained a master's degree from the University of Chicago in 1995 and a doctorate from Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt in 2001. He has been admitted to the German bar since 1998 and worked with law firms in Frankfurt, Hamburg and Stuttgart. From 2006 to 2008, he served as a senior in-house legal counsel for Syngenta, a multinational agribusiness, and was based in Basel (Switzerland) and São Paulo (Brazil). Since April 2010 he is a partner of GRAF KANITZ, SCHÜPPEN & PARTNER.
