Attorney-at-law (Of Counsel)
Hilmar Klenke (*1965), after training as a bank clerk, studied law at Konstanz, Lausanne and Heidelberg. After getting his degree at the University of Konstanz in the topic ‘stock exchange services in the European internal market’ (Dr. jur., 1997) and a master course at the University of Oxford (M.Jur., 1997), he worked as an attorney-at-law in the corporate finance division of an American law office and counselled banks and issuers in international floatation and share issues. After that, he managed the corporate transactions of the Deutsche Börse AG for years (M&A, floatation of the shares of Deutsche Börse AG, joint ventures) as a senior legal counsel.
He is an author of publications in stock exchange and capital markets law, holding awards from the University of Heidelberg, the University of Cologne and the Südwestmetall Employers’ Association. Hilmar Klenke is engaged as a lecturer in Mergers & Acquisitions, Labour law and general commercial law at the European Business School, EBS University of Economics and Law, Wiesbaden.
