Bernd Beermann (*1948) studied Law at the Marburg, Berlin, Saarbrücken and Geneva universities. He worked as general counsel at the legal department of an international German raw material producer. After this, for more than 15 years, he managed companies specializing in the construction and operation of industral plants; with regional focus on the Gulf Region and Asia. Since 1996 he has been working as an independent attorney-at-law. As Of Counsel he managed the contract negotiations for commissioning the world’s biggest combined sea water desalination and power station complex in 2008.
